Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade SP & SP2
The Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade has been one of the most anticipated Best Super Sports Motorcycles of the season and confirms the return of Honda with all its technology to the segment of large sports bikes.
It has everything that was expected in terms of electronic management of its engine with an inertial measurement system that allows controlling the bike in acceleration, braking and lateral movement with the latest generation ABS and traction and anti-slip system.
The suspensions are electronic Öhlins and a maximum power of 189 hp for 195 kg of weight. The SP2 version has even more equipment and will only be valid for a circuit.
Honda presented the CBR 1000 RR Fireblade SP and SP2 at the Cologne Motor Show, and it still had to show this basic version with some less exclusive details and, of course, something more affordable. Among these more economical details stands out a Showa fork with 43 mm bars in diameter without the electronic sophistication of the SP.
It still has several riding modes, traction and torque control and a new ABS braking system with more possibilities thanks to the information it receives from the inertial measurement unit that the motorcycle carries. The fuel tank is not titanium as in the case of SP.
Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon
Best Super Sports Motorcycles – The Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon is a version limited to 200 units of the H2 supercharged with a special decoration and the upper part of the fairing made of carbon fiber. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon is a ground-air missile with an engine of 200 hp, with an over-powered engine and very exclusive technology.
Kawasaki wanted to celebrate in style the 30th anniversary of the birth of the first NInja. The chassis is multitubular in steel with the motor as a supporting element. The fairing must be trimmed to dissipate the heat produced by this supercharged engine.
Kayaba inverted fork, mono fork swingarm, Brembo monoblock calipers and a lot of electronics, are other highlights of this revolutionary, one of the Best Super Sports Motorcycles.
