The headquarters of this new company, which has no name yet, will be installed in the city of Hitachinaka and will be capitalized with an initial injection of about 41 million euros. The new company will have subsidiaries in China and the United States with its own capacity for production and sale.

In the last ten years, Honda has been flirting with several companies within the electric motor industry. Within the world of two wheels, he did so with the missing Mission Motors. With them, they managed to compete in the TT Zero of the Isle of Man in 2014, with the team Mugen Shinden and the pilots John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey.

All this leads us to think of the interesting prototype that the Japanese brand introduced in 2011: the Honda RC-E that heads this article. Looking similar to a Moto2 and top-quality components like the Öhlins forks, Brembo brakes, and a certain retro air, got many of us to start thinking that electricity was not so bad.

We also do not know if this alliance will go beyond the cars, but surely there will be technology transfer. More than one would not mind crossing an RC-E electric scooter despite not listening to the BRAAAAP so characteristic of a gasoline engine. The future is electric and the sooner we accept it, the sooner we will appreciate the beauty of its creations.
