Custom Cafe Racer Ducati – From Austria comes one of the latest works of NCT Motorcycles, a powerful cafe racer based on a superbike such as the Ducati 848 EVO. This workshop, more accustomed working with older models and on request, has decided to give a good tribute by unleashing its imagination and potential, resulting in a very modern but ‘retro’ Italian ‘coffee machine’.
To begin this ambitious project, the people of NCT started leaving almost in ‘balls’ to the 848 EVO, leaving exposed the only parts that were to take advantage in this project, ie engine, chassis, tires and tank, the rest, Practically in its entirety has been replaced by new parts.
Aesthetically, to provide the 848 EVO with a cafe racer style, a new subframe has been manufactured in order to house the single-seated seat made of aluminum and handmade, which has embedded in its back a small light Of LED type, and that has a new seat made to measure in brown leather and cloth. The chosen color in this case has been a classic olive green in gloss finish, along with a repainting of the whole frame in black satin.
The side covers under the tank have been replaced by new ones, which, although well-kept in the same design as the original ones, have been adapted to fit the new rear section and become carbon fiver. A new LED Truck-Lite headlight, along with new handles with built-in indicators, handles, and liquid reservoirs, takes center stage.
The suspension in this case is also a new addition, having been replaced from the old seta Showa to a new set signed by Öhlins. The brake system is another point that has been taken advantage of, keeping it in Brembo braking equipment, in charge of stopping the tires with ‘Y’ design with a new set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SC2 tires.
Finally, the NCT team did not want to forget both the engine and the sound of this Ducati 848 Cafe Racer Evo. For this they have introduced two new K & N air filters and exhaust system with Akrapovic termination, the ECU having been reprogrammed for perfect operation.
