Hickman’s orgasmic Full Lap with the BMW HP4 Race in the TT 2017

Full Lap with the BMW HP4 Race – The British division of BMW Motorrad put through a few days ago a brief video of Peter Hickman on board of the brutal HP4 Race at the Mountain Course of the Isle of Man. The German brand has launched the full display round that Hickman completed during the last edition of the Tourist Trophy, 19 minutes of authentic biker orgasm with multiple cameras installed on the bike and a sound that perfectly captures the roar of the 215 hp of the propeller Four-cylinder HP4 Race.

In case you do not remember, this exclusive limited-edition HP4 Race at 750 units features an Öhlins FGR 300 reversed fork that works in conjunction with a TTX36 GP rear shock absorber, the same components used by BMW in the WSBK. The brake calipers are also in competition, a Brembo GP RR monobloc with titanium-coated bonnets, coupled to T-Type Racing steel wheels 320 mm and 6.75 mm thick.

But without a doubt, what stands out most of the HP4 Race is its chassis made of carbon fiber, a material that is also used in its tires, subframe and fairings, yielding a final weight of only 171 Kilos (with full tank), even lighter than a World Superbike bike (168 kilos dry) and not too far from the weight of a MotoGP (158 kilos).

A beast of 80,000 euros that Peter Hickman has been able to put to the limit in the 60 kilometers of travel of the TT. If you want to know all the details of the bike, click here to read our special article on the HP4 Race.
