8 Hours of Suzuka 2017 – This morning, starting at 04:30 am Spanish time -11: 30 in Japan, will start a new edition of the 8 Hours of Suzuka, the final meeting of the Endurance World Championship that faces its last race of the season with a single Point difference between the leader of the general, the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team (SERT), and the Yamaha GMT94 of the Spanish David Checa.
Talk about Suzuka is talking about Japanese teams and large Japanese manufacturers that put all the meat on the grill in what is, without a doubt, one of its most important appointments of the year.
In this edition, Alex Lowes’s Yamaha Factory Racing, Michael Van der Mark and MotoGP tester Nakasuga took pole position, ahead of two other factory teams: Yoshimura Suzuki (the only one who has ever missed any of the 40 editions of the 8 Hours of Suzuka) and Kawasaki Team Green, where Leon Haslam teams up with Kazuma Watanabe and Azlan Shah Bin Kamaruzaman.
Do not forget: this next morning, starting at 04:30, Eurosport 2 will broadcast live the 8 Hours of Suzuka, which will end at 12:30 in the afternoon.
To get warm, nothing better than a couple of videos. The first, a summary with the highlight of Saturday’s qualifying, and underneath a spectacular onboard of Niccolò Canepa in Suzuka riding the Yamaha R1 of the team GMT94, that tomorrow will give everything takes the world title of resistance.
